Vocabulary

  • Recuperate; (verb) to recover from an illness or exertion

  • Songwriter, lyricist, lyric writer; (noun) a person who writes words to music

  • Alumnus / Alumni (plural); (noun) a graduate student of a particular university, college, or school

Wintertime

  • Hot chocolate / hot cocoa

    • Cocoa powder; a powder made from roasted and ground cacao seeds

  • Toque; (noun) (Canadian word) winter cap / hat, often with a pompom or tassel 

  • Migrate; (verb)

    • Migration; (noun)

  • Hibernate; (verb)

    • Hibernation; (noun)
