Take ill; become illness, especially suddenly
A: My mother in law was taken ill with covid-19, but this morning I was told her fever was going down.
B: How long did her fever continue?
A: I don’t know. I have to wait for the doctor to contact me.(Once) a (week / month / year etc)
Once, twice, three times, four times, five times six times etc
When the noun is plural we have to use every
Once every (six hours / ten days / few months).
In this phrase we can only say once every …, we cannot say twice every)
We go to the same yoga class, but I don’t recognize you without a mask.
What did your nephew get for his birthday? (= what presents did he receive for his birthday?)
He looked (confused / puzzled), when his girlfriend said she wanted to go with me to my hula event.
Weekends
Have a great time; people enjoy having a fun and enjoyable experience
Go clubbing; go to nightclubs or dance clubs to enjoy music, dancing, and socializing
Clothes & Close can have the same pronunciation ( klohz )
Weekend activities
Go driving, go to a garden, take a short trip, go to a quiet cafe, (do / have) a bbq
Midday noon; 12pm, the middle of the day
Midnight; 12am (NOT the middle of the night)
