Lesson Notes March 7, 2023 (TUESDAY ZOOM)

  • A: Oops, sorry. I sent that picture by mistake.
    B: What was the picture you accidentally sent?

  • You have to be diligent when growing flowers and plants.

  • A lot of my old books are getting discolours, and the lettering is so small.

  • Book conditions

    • Yellowed: describes paper that has turned a yellowish colour due to age and exposure to light

    • Faded: Faded books have lost their original colour and appear washed out or dull

    • Dusty: Books that have not been cleaned in a while can accumulate dust on their covers and pages

    • Stained: Stains on books can be caused by water damage, food or drink spills, or other types of discolouration

    • Tattered: A book that is tattered has torn, frayed, or worn edges due to age or use

    • Dog-eared: This term is used to describe pages that have been folded down at the corner, creating a dog-ear shape
