  • A: Do you attend any other classes?
    B: Yes, I attend an adult education (culture / French / tanka etc) class.

    • A: One of the students is 92 years old, she walks from Soshigaya Okura Station by herself.
      B: Wow that’s a long walk for a 92 year old.

  • Watching Top Gun Maverick in the theatre will give you impressive visuals

  • The night before the big game students would (gather / assemble / meet) at my school and then take a bus to the stadium.

  • Thanks in advance; a common way to express gratitude before someone has actually done something for you?

Homework

Section 6; you will write 4 short messages about the four things in section 6

Each message should have:

Opening,
Statement. Problem.
Closing
(Your name)

Openings; Dear …, Hi …, Hello …, Good (morning / evening afternoon) …

Closings; Regards, Thanks in advance, Thank you, See you, Many thanks

Section 6 gives you an example of a message and a reply, you can also use the messages in Section 5 to help you
