  • The tour group is kind of small, with only 13 people.

  • People grill sardines on the streets. (NOT charcoal)

  • I planned a trip to Portugal 20 years ago, but we had to cancel because my mother passed away. This is a make-up trip. (NOT This trip is a revenge trip)

  • The Prime Minister was travelling to secure benefits for the country.

    • Diplomatically he has had some missteps.

Pronunciation

  • Sardines (noun) ( sɑːˈdiːnz ) sar-DINES

Appropriate Language

  • “Missteps” refer to mistakes or wrong actions, often in a way that could lead to problems or setbacks

    • She learned from her missteps and did better on the next test.

    • The team made a few missteps, but they still won the game.
