The sun just disappeared behind some clouds.
We had a sudden downpour early this morning.
A: How many books are in the series?
B: I think there are four or five books in this series.The books are still in the library, but they are no longer used in (classrooms / classes)

The play I saw was thought-provoking.
The writer posed many thought-provoking questions in his article.
The theatre has a series of performances in summer and November. (NOT they have stages in)
I had some free time recently so I went to see a play nearby my house.
How did you know the play was being performed? (NOT the play was on the stage)
Compare Hall and Theatre
Hall; a building or large room used for meetings, concerts or other events
There’s a small hall near the station that community groups use for their meetings.
The concert next week will be held at the city hall.
Next week I’ll attend a conference at a large hall in Tokyo.
Theatre; a building or outdoor area used for plays or other dramatic performances
There is a kabuki theatre in Ginza.
Shimokitazawa has several small theatres around the station area.
A twenty minute walk to the theatre isn’t so bad. Taking the train one stop is (a pain / troublesome / annoying / a waste of time / not worth it).
Compare By and Along
When I walk by the court I never see anyone using it. (= I passed the location)
"by" suggests a location beside a place or object
In the early evening I like to go walking along the river near my house. (= I followed the river)
"along" suggests moving in a direction on or around a place, path, road
My ninety-year-old neighbour still plays tennis with her friends every week. (NOT continues)
