Lesson Notes August 22, 2023 (TUESDAY ZOOM)

  • A: I went to the dentist.
    B: Did you have a loose tooth?
    A: No, I have a habit of clenching my teeth and I should wear a mouth-guard.

  • My daughter uses a mouth-guard because she grinds her teeth in her sleep.

  • I read an article about a link between teeth problems and heart-disease.

  • Rheumatism is any disease with inflammation and often pain in the joints.

  • I need to get three teeth (pulled out / extracted). After that I will get (a bridge / dentures).

    • A bridge; a partial denture supported by natural teeth on either side.

    • Dentures; a removable plate or frame that holds artificial teeth

  • There have been some cases of fraud with cosmetic dentists.
