I was stuck at the station because of the rain, lucky my husband could come and pick me up.
Your mom is stuck at the station, I’m going to go and pick her up.
When I head out from the gym, I put a wet towel on my head to help protect myself from heatstroke. (= leave)
Umbrella protects from the rain. Parasol protects from the sun.
I have an umbrella with UV protection.
I bring a change of clothes when I go to my hula lesson, not to mention my outfit and two towels.

We live in the suburbs of Kawasaki. Our teacher lives in Komae, a small city in Tokyo.
