  • I hear many young people’s necks stick straight up, they don’t have a curve.

  • Physical therapy (USA) / physiotherapy (Canada / British)

    • Rehabilitation; typically restoring someone to normal life after imprisonment or addiction

    • Rehab; (informal) treatment for drug or alcohol (addiction / dependence)

  • I saw an ad in the newspaper about a skin treatment. (NOT on the newspaper)

  • Fraudulent; (synonyms) deceptive, dishonest, cheating, swindle, corrupt

  • When we were young we had a contest after summer vacation to see who had (the best suntan / darkest skin).

  • Hit (verb) use to say when a disaster occurs and causes damage
