  • Humanity is the quality of being kind, thoughtful and sympathetic towards others.

    • The Queen’s speech should great maturity and humanity.

  • Likeable; (adj) (especially of a person) pleasant, friendly, and easy to like

    • The new politician is so likeable that even people from different parties find it easy to have a conversation with him.

  • The difference between his view in Japan and overseas was like night and day. (= a big or complete difference between two things)
