A whistle-blower is someone who tells others, usually the public or authorities, about something wrong or illegal happening in a company or organization.
They "blow the whistle" to stop bad actions or behaviour.
It’s hard to believe the actions and attitude of the Governor of Hyogo.
The phrase "commit suicide" is still used, but many people and organizations now prefer more sensitive language. Instead, phrases like "died by suicide” are often used now.
The water in the valley evaporated and it eventually became a desert.
There are plenty of people who don’t follow the rules. (NOT keep the rules)
There are still many people from Asia who emigrate to North America.
