Lesson Notes October 31, 2023 (Vocabulary Building)
My granddaughter wore a kimono at the Shichigosan Ceremony. It was a little difficult to dress her. (= It was difficult to put kimono on her)
It was also difficult to style her hair. (NOT to make her hair style)
First, we had my granddaughter’s Shichigosan photographs taken before hand.
There are many apps that can touch-up your appearance.
Before going into the concert I went to the washroom to touch-up my makeup.
I think this winter I am going to touch-up my bedroom, I want to repaint the walls.
I’m not dancing this weekend, but I’m going to go support my hula group and do some shopping. (We can use “team” when we talk about competitions, the cases use “group”)
The shops will have a variety of Hawaiian goods, like cups, glasses, flower vases and clothes.
