  • The sentence "Did you have a good exercise?" is not grammatically incorrect, instead you can use one of these:

    • Did you have a good workout?

    • Did you have a good exercise session?

    • Did you have a good time at the gym?

  • I read some information about the merger in the Line app.

    • Did you read all the agreement?

    • No, I just scrolled through and clicked “agree”.

  • The mayor held a news conference about the bears that were killed.

  • I went to a doctor’s lecture about heart health.

    • Did you learn anything? (NOT did you study hard)

    • My husband takes three medications for heart and blood issues. (It’s also possible to say “three types of medicine”)

  • The local bus near my house only runs once every forty minutes.

    • The city bus runs every fifteen minutes.

Vocabulary

  • Scroll; to move a screen up and down or left and right

  • Maul; (verb) (of an animal) wound (a person or animal) by clawing and tearing

  • News conference; a press conference

  • Medicine; (general term) field of healthcare, including diagnosis and treatment

  • Medication; (noun) the drugs or substances used to treat or alleviate medical conditions
