Topic: Eat the Rainbow

Lesson Notes November 7, 2023 (Elementary)

  • I lost my phone. I think someone pickpocketed my cellphone.

    • I had to (cancel / stop) my phone and credit cards.

  • I had a soft and creamy gorgonzola that you eat with a spoon.

  • What was the best highlight of your trip?

  • The town has started to excavate some ancient ruins. The excavations are continuing now.

  • I was finally able to eat real Italian pizza.

    • They came to Japan to eat real Japanese sushi.

  • When I travel alone I get preoccupied with places that I am visiting that I don’t eat or drink until the end of the day.

Vocabulary

  • Pickpocket; (verb) steal from the pockets of (someone)

  • 5 Would you like a glass of juice? (The sentence in section 6 number 5 had a mistake)

  • We can say “Would you like a little juice?”
