  • I watched a movie about an amateur historian who found the resting place of King Richard III.

    • Historians and various amateur circles were looking for his grave. (NOT finding his grave)

Vocabulary

  • Holiday

    • vacation / travel

    • day of festivities / recreation

    • “National Holidays”

    • “Religious Holidays”

    • “Bank Holidays” (Public Holiday)

  • Social services; government services provided for the benefit of the community

    • Like education, medical care, housing etc

  • Cost of living; the prices of everyday items

Feeling Happy

  • Making seasonal sweets. (NOT season sweets)

  • I’ve heard that the cost of living is high, but so are the salaries.
