Words & Phrases

Appropriate Language
Public servant; is a person who is elected to appointed to a public office, often working for a local or state government.
‘Take breakfast’ is more formal or traditional, but it is less frequent in everyday conversation.
Spatter / Splatter (verb); drops of a liquid falls on an area of a surface
Spectator vs Audience
Audience; people at a public event such as a play, film, concert or meeting
Spectator; people who watch at a show, game or other event
Master of a stable; (historically) typically is used in contexts involving animals, particularly horses
Modern times “stable manager” or “head groom” would be used
Bulimia (nervosa); an illness in which a person has a very great fear of booming fat, and so they make themselves vomit after eating
