Wedding ceremony; a formal event that celebrates the union of two people in marriage
Wedding reception; a celebration that takes place after the wedding ceremony; the newly married couple and their guests to come together to eat, drink, dance, and socialize
Wedding party; typically refers to the group of people who participate in a wedding ceremony alongside the bride and groom
My daughter had a party after her wedding with her friends. (NOT had a wedding party)
Alterations; taking an item to a professional tailor or seamstress for the specific purpose of having it altered to fit better or be restyled.
"I need to take this shirt to the tailor for alterations. It's too loose in the sleeves.”
"She altered her dress by shortening the hemline and adding some lace trim.”
"The tailor performed some alterations on my suit jacket to make it fit better.”
I’m afraid the roads will be very crowded this Golden Week. If we drive we might get stuck in traffic.
