  • I asked my hairdresser to take off two centimetres. (NOT ordered)

    • I don’t like my (hairdo / hairstyle).

    • My hair is too short, but it’ll grow back. (= "it'll grow back" refers to the hair growing longer again)

    • This hair style is bad, but it’ll grow out. (= "it'll grow out" means the current hairstyle will eventually be become less noticeable as the hair grows)

  • It’s difficult to (get back / return) home on time for this lesson.

  • Some of the prepackaged foods and meats from the convenience store are pretty good.

  • Convenience stores sell goods at slightly higher prices than supermarkets.

  • The food areas in Ito Yokado and Aeon are changing recently.

    • The food floor is being renovated. (NOT food basement)

    • The cake corner on the food floor has a couple of good shops.

  • I didn’t make a reservation for Tokyo SkyTree because if it had been raining, I wouldn’t have gone.
