  • I listen to various radio commentators. One of them provides lighthearted political commentary.

  • I took Lucas’s parents to the Jindai Botanical Garden.

  • The botanical garden has a long large trellis of wisteria.

    • There’s another area with trellises of climbing roses.

  • The garden is near a large model home park.

  • I bought a one year pass for the botanical garden.

  • This year my garden is full of creepy-crawlies.

  • He needed an anti-venom shot after being bitten by a pit viper.

  • There was a giant swarm of bees in my garden, I think they were moving to establish a new colony.

Vocabulary

  • Trellis; support for fruit trees or climbing plants

  • Creepy-crawly; an insect, spider, worm, or other small flightless creature, especially when considered unpleasant or frightening

  • Venom; a poisonous substance secreted by animals such as snakes, spiders, and scorpions
