  • Graniph t-shirt design store used to have several shops in Machida and Shimokitazawa.

  • My friend belongs to a Senior Acting Company.

    • My friend was acting in a play. (NOT playing in a play)

  • The play was written by a popular playwright.

  • In the near future, they acting group is going to perform in Osaka. (NOT to play in)

  • My smartwatch battery died, changing the battery and buying a new one cost the same.

    • My smartwatch synchronizes easily with my phone.

    • Sometimes the synchronization is a little slow.

Vocabulary

  • Playwright; a person who writes plays

  • Monologue; each character typically delivers a long speech, sharing their personal experiences, thoughts, and emotions.

    • Sometimes, these monologues intertwine to form a cohesive narrative or theme

Food and Drink

  • In my fridge I have a cut pineapple.

    • Pineapple (chunks / slices)

  • There is a pack of bean sprouts.

  • I have a package of Chinese chives.

  • When I cook, I like the smell of garlic, but I don’t like to eat it.
