    • There is scaffolding around my house for the renovation.

  • I just got back from taking my father to the eye clinic.

    • Do you need reading glasses?

    • When I am driving I have to use driving glasses.

    • After my mother’s cataract operation she can see too well. She sees all the dust.

  • Everyone in my family suffers from hey fever.

  • I made an appointment online. After seeing the doctor, I made an appointment with the nurse.

Vocabulary

  • Scaffolding; (uncountable noun) temporary structure outside around a building during construction

  • Farsighted; unable to see things clearly if they are close

  • Nearsighted; unable to see things clearly if they are far away
