  • You like to read the One Piece manga, don’t you? Have you seen the live-action TV series on Netflix?

  • I have a recurring (dream / nightmare) where I lost my university credits and couldn’t graduate.

Vocabulary

  • Centenarians; people who are one hundred or more years old

  • Phobia; a dislike or fear of something

  • Live action; action in films involving filming real people or animals, as contrasted with animation or computer-generated effects

  • Complexion; the natural colour, texture, and appearance of a person's skin, especially of the face

  • Vivacious; attractively lively and animated (typically used of a woman)

People’s Appearance

  • My sister has a pale complexion, but my brother who is a ginger has a reddish complexion.

  • Some young people who apply for work take a photo for the application at a famous photo studio.

    • A lot of young people want to be thin and have eating (troubles / disorders), like anorexia.

  • When I’m working at the front desk, people think I look bossy.

  • I’m attracted to vivacious women.
