I had made a reservation for one. On the day of the event I suddenly changed the reservation to two people.
We had pasta with mapo tofu sauce. (NOT mapo tofu taste pasta)
Grammar
Prepositions for time (at, in, on) are not used with the following expressions of time: next, last, this, one, any, each, every, some, all
See you next week. (NOT on next week)
Are you free this morning? (NOT in this morning)
Let’s meet one day. (NOT at one day)
Come by any time.
I’m at home every evening.
We stayed all day.
Pronunciation
Do you live in a house or an apartment?
Try to say the “in a” quickly, so it sounds like “ina”
Do you live in a town or a city
Tr yo say the “or a” quickly, so it sounds like “ora”
Appropriacy
The audience at a play, concert, film, event or public meeting is the group of people watching or listening to it.
Neighbourhood
Neighbourhood; the place or area you live
Neighbours; the people who live in your area
Nextdoor neighbours, the neighbours across the street, the neighbours behind me
Countryside; the land and scenery in a rural area; Kawasaki is not in the countryside.
