We had a nice dinner on New Year’s Eve. (December 31st)
My friends and I had a bbq on New Year’s Day. (January 1st)
My younger son and his family live upstairs. (NOT younger son and family)
Claw; (countable noun) used for birds, lizards, insects, crabs, lobsters, scorpions etc
Chill; (verb) cool (food or drink), typically in a refrigerator
After cooking, shape it, then chill it in the fridge for two hours.
It can lose its shape if it’s not chilled long enough.
Don’t confuse these pronunciations

Differences between see and meet
Use meet for the first time you see someone
I met a interesting woman at the party last night. We often go to the same parties, but this was the first time we met.
Use meet when you are seeing someone because you have plans or an appointment (formally)
Are you meeting with the bank staff later today?
We met with my son’s teacher about his grades.
We also use meet when we accidentally run into a friend or acquaintance.
While I was out shopping I (met / ran into) my friend and ended up going for a coffee.
Use see for all other situations; especially for friends, family, and other people you know
I see my family once every couple of years.
