Words & Phrases
I love to eat sweet milk chocolate.
I am a fan of bitter or extra bitter chocolate.
My mother likes to bake cookies with semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Did you hear about the terrible incident at Nagano station?
The stabbing was a random crime, the suspect chose his victim at random in the station.
The murder was a crime of passion, committed after a heated argument between the couple.
I heard the station area is getting a pedestrian bridge.
The space was privately owned, but it has been sold to the city.
I have no clue if the park has cherry blossom trees.
Appropriate Language
Semi-sweet; moderate sweetness, often used in baking
Bitter; very little sweetness, high cocoa content (around 80%)
Extra bitter; very high cocoa content (over 85% or around 90%), very little sweetness
Learning Languages
For each country, we usually need to know four words. Remember, we don’t learn every country. Most people know the names of the big countries, and for other countries, you can guess the words you need.

The singular noun (used for a person from the country)

The plural expression (used for the nation)

The name of the language is often the same as the adjective, but there are some exceptions
