  • At the New Year’s event, we played several different types of card games.

    • If someone cannot play a card, they have to pass.

    • I used to play cards and games with my family when I was a child. I hadn’t played in a long time.

      B: No, I lost. There was a strong player.

  • My hair is tangled and damaged.

    • My hair has a lot of split ends. It’s always damaged.

    • My hair isn’t turning grey, but I have a few grey hairs.

  • A: You can buy this at the drug store without a prescription.
    B: Do you know how much a bottle of it costs?
