Lesson Notes January 10, 2023 (TUESDAY ZOOM)

  • Stroke; if someone has a stroke, a blood vessel in their brain Burts or becomes blocks (which may kill them or make them unable to move one side of their body)

  • Ambulance / paramedic

  • There’s a brand new asian supermarket near Chitose-Funabashi Station called Asia Sunshine Market.

  • Salisbury Steak; a blend of ground beef (hamburger meat) and other ingredients, usually served with gravy or brown sauce

  • Ground (beef / pork / cumin / cinnamon / coffee etc)

    • Ground; (adj) reduced to fine particles by crushing or mincing

  • Driveway; a short area (paved or unpaved) leading from public road to house or garage; typically where you park your car

    • Carport; a shelter for a car

  • Thaw; (of ice, snow, or another frozen substance, such as food) to become soft, as a result of warming up
