  • There was an incident near my house yesterday.

  • The police were wearing a different uniform than normal. (NOT costume)

  • Allegation; a claim or assertion that someone has done something illegal or wrong, typically one made without proof

    • The young male that was being investigated was denying the allegations against him.

  • Victim; a person harmed, injured, or killed as a result of a crime, accident, or other event or action

  • Assailant; a person who physically attacks another; attacker; criminal

  • My hot water heater broke (down) last night, it isn’t fixed yet.

  • Simple: (adj) plain, basic, or uncomplicated in form, nature, or design; without much decoration or ornamentation

    • There are several meanings to this word, and the meaning can change based on your tone and intonation
