Lesson Notes February 7, 2023 (Vocabulary Building)

  • The board of education told students to go home, and walk in groups.

  • One side of the ridge is Tsurukawa and the other side of the ridge is Kurihira

  • Quote; (noun) an estimate price of a job or service

    • We got several quotes for the renovations.

    • The quotes were over our budget.

  • The highest level of kitchen fan is self-washing.

  • Pane; a single sheet of glass in a window

    • My renovated bedroom has double pane windows.

    • Do those new windows have one or two panes?

At home

  • A storeroom is just a closet that is used to store things.

  • Wardrobe; a large, tall cupboard or recess in which clothes may be hung or stored

  • Attic / loft; a space or room inside or partly inside the roof of a building

  • Cupboard ( kuhb-erd )

  • I don’t have guests so often.
