  • How was your son’s move? (NOT moving)

    • His move has been postponed due to the weather.

  • She had the intention to work in a company that uses English, not in a Japanese company.

Vocabulary

  • Ginger; Red-head

  • Pale; can be used to describe a face, often describing ill health, shock, fear etc

  • Thin-skinned; sensitive to insults

  • Thick-skinned; insensitive to insults

  • Hunch; raised shoulders and bent forward

  • Hunchback; a back is deformed by a sharp forward angle

People’s Appearance

  • Hair length; buzzed, short, medium, long, (ear / chin / shoulder) length hair

  • Body; Skinny, slim, short, long, broad, narrow

  • Face; wrinkled, crease, crows feet, bags
