  • Ragweed; a tiny green flower with a large amount of pollen, making it a major cause of hay fever

  • Hay fever; an allergy caused by pollen or dust, causing runny nose and watery eyes

  • Personal computer

    • A desktop computer

    • A laptop computer

    • A notebook computer

    • A tablet

  • My phone and tablet both have cellular, so I can use them outside the house.

Travel and Transport

  • Can you give me a (lift / ride) to the station?

  • Toilet; restroom / washroom / bathroom

  • The battery in my car died. (NOT the battery went out)

    • They sent a truck to jump start my battery.

    • I have jump cables, do you want a jump start?

  • I was reading a book on the train and I forgot to get off the train.
