Singular and plural forms
We see them as separate items
Examples: grape / grapes, sweet potato / sweet potatoes, orange / oranges, apple / apples, Brussels sprout / Brussels sprouts
Uncountable
Have one form (typically we do not add -s)
We can’t count the item separately. It’s a whole or mass
Examples: lettuce / broccoli / cauliflower / cabbage / bean sprouts
Vocabulary
Forgive and forget; meaning “It's okay, and I won't be upset anymore.”
Gossip; (noun) similar to “rumour”
Paramedic; (noun) a person trained in emergency medical care
Paste; (noun) a sticky substance like glue
