  • She was wearing sneakers. (NOT she was putting on sneakers)

  • Hangover; (noun) a severe headache or other after-effects caused by drinking an excess of alcohol

    • Did you have a hangover?
      No, I didn’t have a hangover.

    • I’ve got a hangover today.

  • Now I live in an apartment, I can’t barbecue.

  • I don’t know why, but Shochu makes me so drunk, I can’t stand up or walk.

  • A: What do you do?
    B: I have my own real estate company.

  • A: What do you do in your free time? Any hobbies?
    B: Before corona I went abroad. In the future I want to study abroad.

  • A: What do you all do?
    B: I work part-time at a horse riding club.
    C: Me too. We are co-workers.

  • Venison; the meat from a deer

  • Tenderloin; the tenderest part of a loin of beef, pork, etc.

  • A: What would you like to study abroad?
    B: I would like to study English.
    C: Where would you like to study abroad?
    B: I’d like to go to Iceland.
