  • You worried about flying LCC. How was the comfort? (NOT how was the comfortable)

    • The seat was cramped, but not so cramped.

  • I slept the entire (flight / drive / ride / way).

    • Flight; for airplane

    • Drive; for buses, cars, taxis etc

    • Ride; trains, boats

    • Way; casual for all methods

  • I visited wine producing areas in California.

  • Shirakawa ramen is soy sauce flavoured.

Location using Adjectives

  • (northern / eastern / southern / western) + (Country / city / area)

    • Shinyurigaoka is in northern Kawasaki.

    • My brother lives in eastern Tokyo.

    • Texas is in southern U.S.A.

  • Motorhome; a motor vehicle equipped like a caravan for living in. Sometimes called a “Winnebago” in North America

  • Section 2 Part B:

    • Speaker 3 “Then I saw that we had no swimming costumes in the suitcase. We had forgotten them at home!” (= Answer b; “They forgot to pack something important”)
