Cooking & Eating

  • I don’t have a pop-up toaster or electric can opener; I only have a manual one.

  • I don’t have a coffee maker, I make it by hand.

    • I have a stick blender with a variety of attachments.

  • I have a serrated bread knife.

    • Serrated knives have a sawlike blade.

  • Skin (verb); remove the skin from an animal, fish etc; can be used for fruits and vegetables as well.

  • Sauté; fried quickly at a high temperature in a little hot fat; often used for vegetables, and meat
