My car navigation took me to an interesting place. I wasn’t expecting it!
The department store staff was a senior who couldn’t use a smartphone so well.
When I was younger, I worked for a short time at a temple.

Vocabulary
Senior; (noun) an elderly person, especially one who receives a pension
Lodge; (verb) rent a room, or stay at a place
Audience; (noun) all spectators or listeners at a play, film, concert, meeting

Qualifying phrases show which person or thing you are referring to; they should readily identify the person or thing. These phrases make it easier for us to understand who or what is being discussed.
The girl on the left has dark blonde hair.
The man in the centre looks rather overweight.
The man wearing the orange shirt … (Use a qualifying phrase that is easily distinguishable; if all the men have short dark hair, saying “The man with short dark hair” would not be a great qualifying phrase)
