    B: I got them in August, nearly four months ago to the date.

  • I bought a 6-pack of beer, and when I got home, I discovered that one of the cans was leaking. I contacted the store, and they came to my house to exchange it for me.

    • It’s too cold today to be wearing a flimsy shirt.

  • The other day, I injured my leg, and the doctor said it was cracked. As a result, I had a plaster cast put on. (= The doctor put a plaster cast on me)

  • I’m not in the mood to do cleaning for this New Year’s.

  • I fell down some stairs while walking and looking at my phone.
